Why do you offer Decoclim®?

The first reason is for the aesthetic side, I am a perfectionist and Decoclim® allows me to offer a finished installation.
Since outdoor units are unattractive, the Decoclim® unit cover is a real solution for urban integration.
For the record, before the creation of Decoclim®, I already had this need to hide the groups that I installed. At the time I made air conditioning covers with pallets: it took me the morning and it looked more like a toy box than anything else!
So I was quite happy when I discovered that a company had started designing professional covers for air conditioners and heat pumps, a company from the Var region!
It is an easy-to-assemble product, which integrates very well with all configurations, even more so today with the RAL on order! I recently had a client who asked me for an orange, rust color in order to obtain a perfect integration with his facade, thanks to these new custom RAL colors I can respond to this type of request.
90% of my sites are renovations, which means that my team and I work on what already exists, the art of our job in these cases is to offer the most discreet installations possible, Decoclim® allows us that!

But I also installed Decoclim® for safety reasons. For example to protect young children who on the one hand can damage the motor with small toys, sticks, etc. but also and above all to protect them and prevent them from putting their fingers in it and injuring themselves.
I also have a lot of customers who rent and the tenants are not always respectful of the equipment and sometimes even have fun tinkering with the groups… So putting a Decoclim® cover on makes the installation safer.

What are the advantages of Decoclim® for you as an air conditioning professional?

It's a time saver for maintenance!
Indeed, during maintenance of air conditioners all installers tend to focus on the indoor unit, however the outdoor unit is also very important, it is even the main element since the heat producer is outside. . I realized that Decoclim® protects the motor and the tube insulators from clogging, the equipment stays clean much longer! So I spend a lot less time cleaning the outdoor units and can concentrate on the indoor units.

For an annual maintenance contract, the first year I will take care of the indoor unit and the following year I will take care of the outdoor unit, but as I have my Decoclim® this one stays clean much longer, so I spend less time on it and it's much more cost effective.

How do you offer Decoclim® to your customers ?

Initially I offered Decoclim® covers when it seemed relevant to me, depending on the site and the client, now the Decoclim® option is systematically indicated in my quotes with my other options such as annual maintenance, a cover, a base concrete…
It sometimes happens that a customer does not want to install Decoclim® when installing the group, but asks me after a few months or even a few years because he has seen it in my newsletters by sms or on Facebook.
Indeed, these tools allow me to stay in touch with my customers, in particular to remind them to clean and take care of their air conditioner, but also to offer them solutions such as Decoclim®.
